The people and Pilate corner in The Cornerstone
Jesus has something more to say
tongues shooting daggers penetrate the innocent
crucify Him anyway
Are You the king then Pilate asks of Jesus now
For this I'm born, He replied
There is no reason to charge this Man of anything
I wash His blood and close my eyes
Forgive them my Father

garments of purple draped around skin and bone
A crown or thorns for His head
the cross getting heavy on the shoulders of the Cornerstone
all is not lost when He said...
