All poetry has its origins in legend*
In legend, however, the productive soul forces of a people, understanding, imagination and feeling, all the blossoms of future education, are like a fairy tale, still unseparated in a common bud, wonderfully veiled and complete .
The legend, like a natural product, is not invented, it is only the inner reflex of the experiences of a people, its lapidary writing is the deeds of this people, which poetically dreams it up.
