it wasn't half bad
it would be a lie.
I haven't always just won
the pose deceived me about it.

that I made. But if I'm honest
I didn't leave anything out

Sometimes I would have liked to run away

It wasn't out of self-confidence
but fear
I could be forgotten.
Because I had thick skin
I had I didn't used to
I let it grow.
It grew like wrinkles on my face
and the worry
of missing something.

I have learned nothing from the damage I have experienced.

my child
find that attractive
for you, wrinkles are synonymous with experience.
You're wrong with young men
you saw
wrong
and that feeds my vanity.
You say
You are not superficial
As you seem
What should I think of you. But maturity
if you really mean that
has nothing to do with wrinkles.
