I’ve been wandering, walking in my sleep
But I prefer to call it out chasing dreams
I’ve been wondering thinking aimlessly
praying on my knees, God help me please
I get so lost in my own head
I’ll need a compass for where I am heading
I don’t know how to get there but I’ll keep on running
The mile markers have been keeping me going
Keeping my faith and hoping it’s working
I was never good with directions
I just stuck to what I know
Landmarks, familiar faces, I need a stepping stone
Or a paved yellow brick road
Something to find my way back home
I get so lost in my own head looking for the answers
I just get lost sometimes
