All the rivers we traveled together
twisted course from the vague of the earth
can remember the story beggining
here we are at the place over birth
I could feel you before i could see you
i could sense you before we have names
even like this journey breaks vision
all of these rivers return to the sea
and the waters have often betrayed us
tossed in abandon when currents collide
pushed at times to pools of great beauty
all its rage in another disguise
on this wake I can almost remember
clinging to flowers that blossom and die
all that I know is we travel together
all of it lived in the blink of an eye
