Was it before you were misunderstood?
Since we parted my life is so good.
At one time I was filled with such rage.
All you could say was act your age.
I wonder if you ever believed in me.
I took my choices and set you free.
Call it love or call it fate.
Your imagination is too good.
Isn't that a gifted trait?
Once for you I was filled with such passion.
Now my face is colorless and ashen.
During our vows, we had no emotion.
It was all a lie, no true devotion.
You believed in me when no one else could have.
Now I live alone, without you it isn't so bad.
