Alone is not a very easy place to be
But the Lord never meant for us to be alone
He sent us down to earth to help each other home
His message as the key
But sometimes it's not easy to get along
Although we share a faith in His eternal plan
At times it's hard to reach and take our brother's hand
And be what we should be
Bu if we believe all that God has revealed
If we believe His promises are daily fulfilled
Then we'll open our hearts, His love we'll impart
And we'll want to share the joy we can receive
Isn't that what we believe
It's hard to love your neighbor as yourself sometimes
Especially when your neighbor is so much like you.
It can be so hard to admit it's true, with feelings in the way.
But if you walk a mile in someone else's shoes
You may find the way is rough along his road
And you may feel the need to help him bear the load
He carries on his way
