Just yesterday
I was twenty years old
I caressed time
And played with life
As one plays with love
And I lived the night
Without counting on my days
Which were fleeing in time
I made so many projects
Which remained in the air
I founded so many of hopes
That have flown away
That I remain lost
Not knowing where to go
Eyes searching for the sky
But my heart buried in the ground
Just yesterday
I was twenty years old
I was wasting time
By thinking I could stop him
And to hold him back
Even get ahead of him
I I only ran
And ran out of breath
Ignoring the past
Conjugating the future
I preceded myself
Every conversation
And gave my opinion
That I wanted the right one
To criticize the world
With casualness
Just yesterday
I was twenty years old
But I lost my time
To do crazy things
That don't leave me at the bottom
Nothing really specific
Only a few wrinkles on the forehead
And the fear of boredom
