Over Towards Bethlehem
Over above the earth is the shadow of the night,
But there is the light of one lovely star.
Over above the earth are the forces of the Heaven
joyfully announces His coming.
Far in the city with no room tor,
A stable is let to the gentle pair.
Far in the city they both watch and pray
O'er Jesus asleep in his bed of hay.
Over on the hills the night is mild
On the quiet folds of the sheep and the lamb.
Over the hillside the shepherds draw near
The angels glad tidings of joy to hear.
Over the dunes there is a company on a journey
following the star on a long journey.
Over the hills now the wise men do bring
their gifts for our Lord and his praise to sing.
Around Bethle'm there is the break of dawn
and there is a morning of praise now.
Far over Bethlehem glad voices call,
To worship and praise the Savior of all.
