Like a torrent that comes straight from the mountain
and rushes away among the fields.
And covering the countryside
all the flowers of spring.
My heart brand new has descended among the city,
swollen with love and happiness to share,
but my soul is less peaceful
since I left everything.
There- above everything is light.
At the bottom everything is chimera.
But the torrent quickly forgets its mountain,
And like it following my destiny I go down,
and from hill to countryside
I lost my child's heart.
My brand new eyes met you among the city
and without knowing they gave you their freedom.
The river goes away peacefully,
but I wanted to stay.
Yet often I think
of the sky of my childhood.
Tonight you see I want to return to the sweet life ,
To live with you in the clarity of my twenty years.
And to go back to the source
from which spring springs.
In the silence of the white fir trees
you will know near the torrent
my child's heart.
