interesting and catchy
There are traces of the influences over his musical life and yet it is Dexter's personal expression style and feel that is so impressive
If I attempt to describe it I would try to say that Dexter has managed to be uniquely different like Steely Dan, with feel good groove like Santana, intelligent rock like Muse, strong harmonies like CSN and musically artistic like Jack White and probably a little bit of Bowie flare
I only reference to attempt to describe that Dexter has created a futuristic new sound while its strength generates from what we know to be the right kinda stuff
