In the beginning was the Word
And the Word was with God
All things were made by Him the Word
None was made without Him

Light of life he gave to us
Son of God and Son of man
In our Lord Jesus was the Life

Yes and the light shines in the dark
Shines for all of men to see
Jesus the Way the Truth the Life
Life of God and now in man
He who believes in Him has Life
Now and in Eternity
He that has Christ the Son has Life
Life that never dying is
The Living Water that we drink
Oh! Thirsty soul, come and drink
My soul He rescues from the grave
Life eternal gives to me
My life in danger now set free
Free to live His life indeed!
Jesus the Word was made like men
Dwelt amongst the sons of men
All who believe in Him have power
To become the sons of God
