I used to know a fisherman
who loved to hunt the sea for sharks
he'd gut them with a crooked grin.
And shake their entrails
out into the foaming sea.
Then came to pass
an angry turn of fate.
A shark capcised hit trolling boat
the fisherman was tossed out with his bate
and felt those dager teeth sink into his skull.
The wounds released
his blood into the sea
until he flowed along with it.
