All For the Cause of Christ

We live in a world that's always changing
Where every man does what is right in his own eyes
Causes and agendas are the rule of the day
As people search for purpose in their lives
But there is a higher voice that's calling
From one who gave himself so long ago
And the race that he has won is now before me
And I run it for the pleasure of my Lord
All for the Cause of Christ
I press toward the mark
I lay down my life
His cross is the banner I want to hold high
And give my all
For the Cause of Christ
Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses
I lay aside the sin that weighs me down
And though the road is narrow I know I will survive
He gives me the strength to carry on

Who gave me this faith
Till I run into his arms
And see Him face to face
