Some may look at me and think I'm burdened,
with the way of life too hard to live,
they say to follow Christ takes more commitment,
than anyone should ever have to give,
if they could only see the cross from my perspectives,
they know the joy it has brought to me,
if they only knew that Christ has been
more faithful than I, I could ever hoped to be.
For the cross has carried me through every struggle,
grace has been my stregth when I was weak,
you may only see this cross that I carry,
for the truth is, yes the truth is it's the cross that carries me.
Repairs of this life are truly the burden,
don't worry and the feel will weigh you down,
if the strength of it all has left you searching,
I know exactly where relief can be find,
oh there's a few where you can trade it all your troubles,
and the cross is waiting for you to,
and once you take this cross to carry,
you will find, it's the cross that carries you
