Eternal, and leafy, and which seems a sea,
Where perfumes lurk through the warm nutt,
Where the flow of great angels of the air.
We are the enormous and murmuring forest,
Full of dazzling shadow and dark splendor,
Who breathes and lives, where a thousand birds of gold sing,
And whose summit bursts into foam of flowers.
Since the first breath and the first dawn,
With tireless effort and an endless desire,
Together we rise from the caverns of the earth,
Towards this marvelous goal that you alone have reached.
Together, we his voice, we his soul deep,
In this immense foliage, forever green,
We sheltered all the dreams of the world,
