In the quiet of the night, three knocks on my door
A familiar sound I’ve heard many times before
Jesus spoke to me as He held my trembling hands
“Be not afraid, My Child, I have your Master Plan”
Silence filled the room and then I heard Him speak:
“I’ll walk with you in sunshine through storms and pouring rain
I’ll wipe away your tears and I’ll see you through your pain
I’ll carry you on My shoulders whether night or day
Just follow in My Footsteps, I will lead the way
Fill your heart with joy and take time to pray
Remember idle time may cause you to stray
And when your load gets heavy and you need a Friend
Remember I’m right beside you, right where I’ve always been”
Silence filled the room as I fell to my knees
I thought about the words Jesus spoke to me
He washed my sins away and He gave his life for me
He walks by my side and He stands where I stand
He holds me in the psalm of His hand and He has the Master Plan
In the quiet of the night no sounds at my door
Jesus spoke to me and He calmed my trembling hands
He said, “My Child, always remember, I have the Master Plan”
