1 I dumped my oak tree
Like a bastard,
My friend the oak tree,
My alter ego.
We were from the same wood
A little rustic, a little raw,
With which we made anything
Except, of course, the flutes...
I now have ash trees,
Judean trees,
All of good seed,
High forests...
But you, you missing,
My old country branch,
My only Christmas tree,
My pole of wealth!
R Near my tree,
I lived happily,
I should never have moved away from my tree...
Next to my tree,
I lived happily,
I should never have taken my eyes off him...
2 I'm a poor guy
I'll have more joy:
I threw away my pipe ,
My old wooden pipe,
Which I smoked without getting angry,
Without ever burning my lip,
The tobacco of 'the mad cow
In her good old pipe head...
I have foam pipes
Adorned with florets,
Of these pipes that we smoke
By raising my forehead,
But I will find more, my faith,
In my heart nor on my lip,
The taste »t of my old wooden pipe,
Sacred name of a pipe!
3 The nickname of infamous
Fits me like a glove:
With my wife
I left the camp,
Because, for so many years,
It wasn't a breeze
To see his nose all the time
In the middle of his face...
I'm scouring the countryside
To find the
New companion
Worth this one
Which, of course, left a lot
Too many stones in the lenses,
But it hung around my neck
When I lost my marbles!
br/>4 I had an attic
For all accommodation,
With cracks
On the firmament,
I knew it by heart since
And, for a kiss, the race,
I took my bell's at night
Take a ride on the Big Dipper...
I no longer live in an attic,
He can now
Fall from the hal'bards,
I don't care about it but,
But if someone ascends to the heavens
Less than me, I 'y pai' plums:
A hundred and seven years ago, which says better,
I haven't seen the moon!
