Miscellaneous
To My Friends
To my friends I owe the tenderness
And the words of encouragement and the hug;
Sharing the bill with all of them
br/>That presents us with life, step by step.
I owe my friends the patience
To tolerate the sharpest thorns;
The outbursts of humor, the negligence,< br/>The vanities, the fears and the doubts.
A fragile paper ship,
Sometimes it seems like friendship
But it can never beat it
The most violent storm
Because that paper ship,
Has clinging to its rudder
For captain and helmsman:
A heart.
To my friends I owe some anger
That unintentionally disturbed our harmony;
We all know that it cannot be a sin
To argue, sometimes, over trivial things.
I will bequeath to my friends when I die
My devotion in a guitar chord
And among the forgotten verses of a poem,
My poor incorrigible cicada soul.
A fragile paper boat,
Sometimes it seems like friendship
But it can never overcome it
The most violent storm
Because that paper boat,
has clinging to its rudder
For captain and helmsman:
A heart.
My friend, if this song is like the wind,
Wherever you want to listen to it, it demands you,
You will be plural, because it demands it the feeling
When you carry friends in your soul.
