and as we watch the sun rise
so does the tide
but unfortunately

i meant me and my mind
both our minds are two willows
and our branches intertwined
the breeze is you closing your eyes
and it feels so good
against my leaves
and then i feel the soil touching my toes
this is always how it goes
i think that i should get some help sometimes

i walk the coast which is your silhouette
i walk the tidepools as your eyes
it's nice to know to know i have someone who cries
as the tide rolls in
