The Sun and his Sunglasses
I was with the Sun and the Sun was going blind.
The Sun needs better eye tests than they do on earth,
He said Are you okay?
I said Im fine, lets go and see what we can unearth.
When I'm in the supermarket everything's fine,
I just have to look at all the old aisles.
The Sun doesn't fit in the door of the supermarket,
So we have get him, his own little child.
The child goes in but all he wants to look at is sweets,
But somehow he gets the attention of Pete,
Pete is the local sunglasses maker,
He looks at the Sun and he says, I met my maker.
Then Pete realises I've got a load of fibreglass,
We could make some giant sunglasses, would that help?
Don't know, but it's the only option we've got, so lets get down the shop.
Down the shop, wonders are happening,
Everything's going on I can hear some crackling,
Everything's going right we know we've got the plan,
Let's see if the glasses fit the man.
Pete holds them up to the big mans' eyes,
And he, suddenly starts to cry.
Well it just goes to show, that all the Sun needed,
Was protection from his glow.
You can try and find a moral in this story if you want my friend.
That's up to you.
