Sibling Rivalry no medicine can heal

Papers scattered on the floor,
In the middle of the hallway,
I walk through the classroom door, as tears run down my face,
Throughout the lonely day, no place to hide,
Nobody cares about my life.
I try to think of what to say,
But nobody listens anyway.
Everybody has anger, but don't take it out on me,
Everybody feels hurt, but don't share your grief,
Hurt people, hurt people,
They cause the pain they feel,
No black eyes, no bruises, but words no medicine can heal.
The next day I see her, she thinks she's big and strong,
This may be my only chance, to tell her she's wrong,
The fear is building up, my heart is pounding,
The bell is sounding.
I walk over with my head held high,
And tell her she is ruining my life.
Everybody has anger, but don't take it out on me,
Everybody feels hurt, but don't share your grief,
Hurt people, hurt people,
They cause the pain they feel,
No black eyes, no bruises, but words no medicine can heal.
I told her how she hurt me,
the damage deep inside
And I was stunned when I looked up,
To see the tear drops in her eyes,
She told me of her home, her broken family,
She was hurting just like me.
She lashed out at anyone who saw into her heart,
Didn't want people to know she had been broken from the start.
Everybody has anger, but don't take it out on me,
Everybody feels hurt, but don't share your grief,
Hurt people, hurt people, they cause the pain they feel,
No black eyes, no bruises, but words no
Medicine can heal.
