This road before me leads so far away from all I know
But I must persevere to save myself
Only time will tell if this will be worth it
However there remains no other option
Leave my burdens behind me never to return
I must defy the odds
Carve out a path
Leave behind a legacy
This cannot be done when I'm bound to this place
I'm unsure where this will take me
All I know is that I have to get away from here
This is not my home
Into the unknown
I wander
Not knowing what's next
I keep on pushing
Will this be the end
For me
Will I see the light
Or start to decay
Against the forces that seem so overwhelming
I will not lose direction
