Halley's Comet
was alone
for a while
in the sky
when she came down
she lit
up the sky
and the night
is long
silhouettes of icy rocks
before the dawn
pushed away
from who you love
invisible but oh so strong

once in a lifetime
she fell in love with a star
when she couldn't stop
